Kids’ Vacation Center (Age 2-6)

Steamboat’s kids programs are second to none. Staff will cheer and inspire, encourage and entertain; they will become your child’s biggest fan. And along the way they will teach and the kids will learn. Here in one of the premier kid’s facilities in the country, they don’t teach skiing and snowboarding but teach kids. That’s why they created a new purpose-built kids facility, called the Kids’ Vacation Center. The entire program is designed around taking care of kids in a safe and nurturing environment, every second they are there. (located next door to The Ptarmigan Inn)

Kids & Teens Ski School (1st Grade to 15, ski season only)

When They Talk About Their Childhood What Will They Remember?
Steamboat knows kids and teens and that explains why so many of our own learn as soon as they can walk. It started in the early 1900’s with a school curriculum that included skiing. Nearly 80 Steamboat Olympians later it’s still that way. In Ski Town, U.S.A. ® kids are the center of attention and it’s no different at the Ski & Snowboard School, where your kids are treated like they are our own. (located next door to The Ptarmigan Inn)

Also…biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, hot springs, river tubing, snow tubing, ATV rentals, hot air balloon rides, golf, and many more activities are available for the entire family. Ski Town USA is also Family Town USA.
